Families usually want a straight answer about price before anything else. Here is how home care pricing works with Mazaltov, what changes the number, and how to get an exact quote for your situation.
How pricing works
As a Florida-licensed nurse registry, Mazaltov refers you to independent caregivers and coordinates the arrangement. Caregivers set their own hourly rates, and the rate reflects the level of care, the caregiver classification and the schedule.
Care options may start from $25 per hour. Final rates depend on the level of care, the schedule and the caregiver qualifications required, so companionship and homemaker help sits at the lower end while personal care, dementia care and overnight or 24-hour coverage are priced higher. Care from a CNA, LPN or RN is quoted separately.
A consultation lets us determine the appropriate care arrangement and rate. Call (561) 465-5920 and we will talk through real numbers for your situation, with no obligation.
What affects the price
- Hours per week. More hours generally means a lower hourly rate. A few hours a week costs more per hour than a daily schedule.
- Caregiver classification. Companion and homemaker help costs less than hands-on personal care, and care requiring a CNA, HHA, LPN or RN is priced according to that classification.
- Overnight and 24-hour coverage. Awake overnight caregivers and full 24/7 rotations are priced differently from a live-in arrangement where the caregiver sleeps. We'll explain both models and what each costs.
- Timing. Holidays and short-notice starts can carry a premium.
- Two-person care. Some transfers and conditions call for two caregivers at once.
We work with long-term care insurance
If your loved one has a long-term care insurance policy, it will often cover a large share of in-home care. Our team reviews policies with families every week, helps you understand the elimination period and daily benefit, and provides the documentation carriers require so claims get paid. Bring the policy to your free consultation and we'll walk through it together.
Other ways families pay
- Private pay, billed at the agreed hourly rate with transparent weekly invoices.
- Veterans benefits, including Aid and Attendance for eligible veterans and surviving spouses.
- Life insurance conversions and reverse mortgages, which some families use to fund care at home.
